BK Engineering Bacteria -Aptamers are coupled with the bacterial surface
The binding of the aptamers to the bacterial surface is described by a simple and cell-compatible amidation procedure, which can significantly promote the localization of the bacteria to the tumor site after systemic administration. The surface density of the aptamer can be easily adjusted by changing the feed ratio, while the coupling action can improve the stability of the anchored aptamer.
Aptamer-conjugated attenuated Salmonella showed enhanced antitumor efficacy, as well as a highly activated immune response within the tumor.
