Early diagnosis of tumors- -Dual-targeting nanoprobe

Dual-Targeting Nanoprobe for Early Diagnosis of Pheochromocytoma Though Coinstantaneous Identification of Circulating Tumor Cells

Circulating tumor cells (CTC) play a key role in the early diagnosis of pheochromocytoma (PCC). Here, we generated a new dual-targeting nanoprobe for the simultaneous identification of rare PCC-CTC from peripheral blood by targeting PCC cell surface overexpressed noradrenaline transporter (NET) and the somatostatin receptor SSTR 2. Interiodibenzyl guanidine (MIBG) -functionalized magnetic Fe3O4 and octreotide (DOTA) -modified signal amplification Ag @ SiO 2 nanospheres capture and detect PCC-CTC by binding to NET and SSTR 2. The proposed dual-targeting sensor has good reproducibility and high sensitivity for PC12 monitoring in a concentration range of 5 – 5104 cells / mL, with a detection limit of 2 cells / mL. This strategy opens up a simple, sensitive, rapid determination of PCC biomarkers, showing great potential for early diagnosis, prognosis and therapeutic evaluation of PCC.
