Research and development of targeted intervention intelligent micromachine system for precision medicine
Targeted delivery of drugs or cells using magnetized microrobots. Magnetron minichorobot is a microscale device that can be moved and manipulated in vivo under the action of an external magnetic field, with the advantages of high accuracy, high efficiency, low trauma and low side effects. Magnetron microrobots can be divided into bionic robots, surface walking robots, stent robots and biological hybrid robots according to different designs and functions. These micro robots can realize targeted therapy for tumors, thrombosis, infections and other diseases by changing shape, surface modification, drug load and other ways, and also realize the monitoring and evaluation of treatment effects through multimodal imaging technology. Targeted intervention is achieved using intelligent micromachines based on DNA nanotechnology. DNA nanotechnology is a technique that utilizes the self-assembly of DNA molecules to form complex nanostructures and functions, and is highly programmable, highly customizable, highly biocompatible, and highly bioresponsive. Intelligent micromachines based on DNA nanotechnology can realize functions such as morphological change, motor control, and drug release according to different signals and stimuli, so as to realize targeted recognition and intervention of specific cells or molecules. For example, Douglas et al. designed a logical gate nanoscale robot based on DNA nanotechnology to achieve drug release based on the two receptor signals on the surface of cancer cells, thus achieving targeted killing of cancer cells.
