Author: Huisong Hao Corresponding author: Wu Meiying, Chen Yu Communications Unit: Zhongshan University, Shanghai University

Nano-drug delivery systems have shown great potential in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases due to their excellent characteristics, but they also face huge challenges, such as being easily recognized by the immune system and low accumulation in lesions.
The nanomedicine coated by cell membrane combines the good biocompatibility, targeting properties of natural cell membranes, prolonging blood half-life, reducing immunogenicity and other excellent characteristics, and the functional diversity of nanocarriers, which overcomes the shortcomings of traditional nanomedicine delivery systems , And show good development prospects in personalized diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Up to now, although some reviews of nanomedicine on cell membrane biomimetic have been published, most of them have focused on the application of single diseases, especially tumors. This article mainly systematically summarizes the mechanism and advantages of cell membrane bionic nanomedicine in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.

In this review, the author systematically introduced the recent five-year research progress of cell membrane bionic nanomedicine in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, including cancer, bacterial infections, brain diseases, atherosclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes, etc. , Reveals the mechanism of action of cell membrane bionic nanomedicine and the microenvironment of various diseases, and provides a basis for the establishment of bionic nanomedicine for personalized disease diagnosis and treatment. Finally, the current challenges and future development prospects of cell membrane bionic nanomedicine are prospected, which provides ideas for the further development and clinical transformation of cell membrane bionic nanomedicine.

The rapid development of bionic nanomedicine has brought more help to human health. By coating the cell membrane on the surface of the nanoparticles to obtain the bionic nanomedicine of the cell membrane, a new door has been opened, bringing unlimited hope. At the same time, there are many problems in this field that need to be solved urgently, requiring the joint efforts of scientists in different fields!
