(2) Title:
Flexible Bio‑Integrated Flow Sensors for Continuous Monitoring of Body Fluid
(3) Research Idea:
This paper reviews advances in flexible bio‑integrated flow sensors. It sorts out engineering strategies from the perspectives of sensing mechanisms, micro‑scale functional materials and macro‑scale fluid‑structure interaction structures, summarizes application cases of such sensors in monitoring various body fluids, analyzes existing challenges and prospects future development directions.
(4) Material Development
① Materials: Three core materials including porous materials, mesh materials and hydrogels.
② Functions: Porous materials enable easy deformation and improve sensing sensitivity; mesh materials feature high stretchability and air permeability, serving as sensing units and interconnection structures; hydrogels exhibit excellent biological compatibility and can act as adhesive, sensing and encapsulation layers.
Summary: Such devices enable real‑time and continuous monitoring of diverse human body fluids, offering new pathways for personalized healthcare monitoring.
