Tendon-Inspired Fatigue-Resistant Conductive Organohydrogel
(1) Journal:
Advanced Materials
(2) Title:
Tendon-Inspired, Fatigue-Resistant Conductive Organohydrogels via Solvent-Exchange-Assisted Mechanical Training
(3) Research idea:
Inspired by the multiscale hierarchical fibrous structure of tendons, this work integrates three fabrication strategies including freeze-thaw treatment, mechanical training and solvent exchange. With the synergy of multiple interactions, the disordered gel network is reconstructed into highly aligned fibrous bundles. The aligned architecture and reversible dynamic bonds enable crack regulation and energy dissipation.
(4) Material development:
① Materials: PVA matrix incorporated with hydroxyapatite nanowires and cellulose nanofibers
② Functions: Possesses favorable fatigue resistance, conductive sensing performance and wide-temperature antifreeze stability, which is validated for human-machine interaction under low-temperature conditions.
We provide full-process services for custom material design, including innovative scheme design, fabrication, characterization, and in vitro & in vivo validation (cell and animal studies). Our postdoctoral team with multiple high-impact Q1 publications can tackle your challenging research demands. Our scope covers hydrogels, drug delivery systems, nanomaterials, polymers, liposomes, microneedles and more. We support project design, NSFC proposal writing, and high-quality SCI manuscripts for journals such as AFM, AM and other Q1/Q2 journals. Enquiries are welcome👇
